Guide to the Dark Times (Doctor Who Annual 2021)

This starts out as a newspaper reporting on the Kottururh crisis. Mentioning the Doctor and Daleks - so it set it during the TLV novels. River song picks up the story as editor, and expands on the Kotturuh. 

As with the ‘Dawn of the Kotturuh’ short story, this is a bit of scene setting. Its not really telling you anything you won’t find elsewhere. Though there is a bit about the Kotturuh, which describes them better than I’ve seen elsewhere and has a nice illustration.

Its followed by a who’s who of the Dark Times, and mentions various races from the Doctor Who universe and those involved with the TLV series, including Brian the Ood!.

I didn’t buy this at the time, and as I just wanted to read the Time Lord Victorious bit, I found it online.

You not missing much if you’ve not read it, but a nice addition to the series though.
